Ode to Aunt Marina

Aunt Marina has arrived!!! Mitch actually refers to you as "Aunt Marina" not the woman who lives with Uncle Tom. IN FACT, he refers to 3040 Stoneycreek as "Aunt Marina's house"!! Not Uncle Tom's house where that other woman lives! Finally, it only took two generations. We love Aunt Marina :)

Okay, this isn't actually an "Ode". Aunt Marina is the family poet.

Igloo Cooler

Family,
After finally cleaning up our back room today from Labor Day, I found a red Igloo Cooler. It's a smaller one. Let me know who it belongs to and I'll get it to ya! Also, everyone is invited to the Minnich's on Halloween night for a party. Come over between 5:30-6:00, bring a treat to share and costumes are optional.

We had a nice trip to PA on Sunday. Mom's headstone is beautiful and matches Dad's perfectly. It is placed at her feet because of some other lady's is where her head is. Notice the pictures...it should explain the placement. We had a nice visit with Martha's family. She asked about everyone.

Are we planning on getting together on Sunday, June 13? I have a compulsive need to finalize plans like this ahead of time.

We hit the road on Thursday! If anyone wants us to get them anything from Houston, New Orleans, or Nashville, put in your request now!

Le Sueur Road Trip!

We're doing it! We're braving three days in the car with two toddlers again this summer, but this time we'll be driving from Houston to OHIO! We're hoping to arrive at my parents' house on June 12, and we'll stay for a week. Sometime during that week, we really want to see all of the Rice family. So please, get your calendars out and let us know what would work best for everyone between June 13 and 18. We're getting excited!

These are from our Easter cupcake decorating. It was so much fun...and getting better every year.

Easter Cupcakes

For one reason or another, last year's Easter cupcakes never happened. To continue with the tradition this year...ladies, plan on decorating Easter cupcakes at the Minnich's the Friday before Easter. I don't know the exact date, but it'll be Good Friday. Whatever time works best for everyone, usually 5-6pm. Bring your cupcakes already baked and whatever cake decorating do-dads you have. The more the sprinkles and candies, the better. I will have icing already here...we always have too much. Bring whatever food coloring you have for the icing.
Gentlemen, you are welcome to come to the cupcake decorating frenzy. Don't worry, you don't have to participate, unless you have your heart set on it! But everyone is welcome to come and hang out. Contact Suzanne for any inquires.
