Clayton Ave Christmas Memories

Family,
As we are getting ready for Christmas 2009, are there things that you see in the store or around your house that remind you of Christmas' on Clayton Ave.? I know I do and I get warm feelings. Let's list some of the things that make you think of Christmas' past...ok, I'll start: ribbon candy.
Ok you go....

Grandma's spice candy tree....the orange ones were always my favorite.

Both of the things already listed and nuts in the shell, (usually in a bolw, on the buffet with the ribbon candy and candy tree) I miss it all.

Christmas Carols....still get teary-eyed thinking of the time we all surprised her that one Christmas with our caroling on her doorstep!

Steph - I have Grandma's gum-drop tree! I'll post a picture of it soon. Same with Aunt Jeni - nuts in the shell remind me of the nutrolls that were always in at least one of the Rice family homes during Christmas.
